About Alicia

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a practice in Boulder, Colorado, and an online practice serving Oregon.  I am passionate about the body’s ability to heal and thrive under the right conditions.  I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, PTSD, addiction, chronic illness and pain, as well as persistent worry and stress.

I enjoy helping people build the capacity to be with difficult emotions, clear chronic stress, and fully experience the wide range of feelings available to them. I support those who feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected to feel safe in their bodies, release long-held tension patterns, shift limiting beliefs, and step into a more grounded, confident version of themselves. With increased embodiment and emotional resilience, many people experience a greater sense of aliveness, deeper connection, and a more authentic experience of well-being.

I use a combination of body-based, mindfulness and talk therapy approaches including Somatic Experiencing®, Brainspotting, DBT, Gestalt/IFS and Integral Somatic Psychology® to help you feel more grounded, regulated and connected to yourself and others. My own meditation and movement practice inspires and guides my work and the presence I bring to clients.

I strive to create a welcoming space for individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as for all sexual orientations and gender identities.
