About Alicia
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a practice in Bend, Oregon, as well as an online practice serving Colorado. I am passionate about the body’s ability to heal and thrive under the right conditions. I specialize in working with individuals suffering from anxiety, trauma, addiction, chronic illness and pain, as well as persistent worry and stress.
I am passionate about helping people build the capacity to be with difficult emotions, clear chronic stress, and fully experience the wide range of feelings available to them. I support those who feel stuck, anxious, or disconnected to feel safe in their bodies, release long-held tension patterns, shift limiting beliefs, and step into a more grounded, confident version of themselves. With increased embodiment and emotional resilience, many people experience a greater sense of aliveness, deeper connection, and a more authentic experience of well-being.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Somatic Experiencing®, Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Integral Somatic Psychology®, Gestalt/IFS, and mindfulness-based techniques. My own meditation and movement practice deeply informs my therapeutic process.
I strive to create a welcoming space for individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as for all sexual orientations and gender identities.
