About Alicia
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a practice in Bend, Oregon, as well as an online practice serving Colorado. I am passionate about the body’s ability to heal and thrive under the right conditions. I specialize in working with individuals suffering from anxiety, trauma, addiction, chronic illness and pain, and chronic worry and stress.
I am committed to helping people build the capacity to be with difficult emotions, manage and clear chronic stress, and develop the ability to fully experience the wide range of feelings available to them. An increased capacity for embodiment often leads to greater aliveness, connection, and an overall sense of well-being.
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Somatic Experiencing®, Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Integral Somatic Psychology®, Gestalt/IFS, and mindfulness-based techniques. My own meditation and movement practice deeply informs my therapeutic process.
I strive to create a welcoming space for individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, as well as for all sexual orientations and gender identities.
